Choosing a preschool for my twin boys was a really big deal for me since one of my guys has a medical condition that greatly impacts his time at school.  I researched and visited many preschools, but after meeting with the director and sitting in on a class at GMPS I knew my search was over.  The teachers and staff have shown my family and I nothing but warmth and flexibility.  The boys are both thriving in their current classroom and I love seeing how what they are doing in school transfers to their everyday lives at home.  Finally, my husband and I are still pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoy being a part of this little community.  The families we have met are friendly and there seems to always be some fun activity going on, many without the boys, that we are eager to be a part of.  It has been such as great way for my boys to start their school years and I am so grateful for finding GMPS.

We started at GMPS last year after making the change from full time day care to nanny + preschool as we prepared for our third child to arrive. GREAT experience being new to the school. My kids were completely welcomed as was our whole family.

My son who was in the 2’s at the time has multiple food allergies and asthma. I’ve been very impressed with the staff’s knowledge on both issues and really appreciate the inclusiveness of the school – modified snacks lists and a peanut free environment!

Now in our second year, both the children and I have made so many friends. And as my oldest started Kindergarten this year, he had 2 friends from preschool in his class which was such a help for both of us with the transition! The teachers are fantastic and my 3 year old is so excited to go to school each day. We’ve seen his personality just blossom with the play based curriculum. And he loves “lunch bunch” once a week with his buddies.

As a FT working mom, its been a great, supportive environment. We didn’t grow up here but now I feel like we’re really part of the Glenview community. Can’t say enough good things! Love it!

We have been with GMPS for 4 years and have had a wonderful experience.  The teachers have been so warm and friendly with our children that they are truly an extension of our family.  We love how much light there is in each each classroom and how well kept the school keeps all of the toys and supplies.  We couldn’t be happier with our decision!

Glenview Methodist Preschool is FANTASTIC. The teachers are wonderful, talented, experienced and attentive to your child’s needs. They have a special way in making the classroom inviting and a place for fun, exploring, learning and encouraging kids to be themselves while also being part of a team.

GMPS is a wonderful little school in the heart of Glenview. My two children (ages 2&4) currently attend and absolutely love it. The teachers provide a very comfortable and welcoming environment and the extended offerings are a hit with both the kids and parents. Highly recommend!

I think picking a preschool should be based on where you feel most at “home” or comfortable when you are touring the facilities.  I would highly recommend adding a tour of GMPS to your list to see how you feel when are in its halls!

Until we had food allergies in our family, we didn’t know how dangerous and isolating they can be. Becoming a part of the GMPS family has been an overwhelmingly positive experience for (our son). Because of everyone’s openness and hard work, he has made friends and wakes up excited to go to school… GMPS has given our little man a “safe place” and for that we thank you. It may not seem like much but for (him) to have a few hours every day when he can be a kid just like everyone else has had a huge impact on his life!

Glenview Methodist Preschool has been a huge part of not only our children’s lives but ours as well. We have spent the last 5 years there and it has been our community. We love the teachers that know every child’s name (even if they aren’t assigned to their class), the play-based learning programs that incorporate beneficial lessons that enhance their little minds, and the friendships we all have formed.
