Barbara joined the GMPS staff in 2023, working with the 2’s and leading our Cultural Awareness Program. The Founder and Director of the Italian Language and Culture School for children ages 1-14 years old, Insieme a Chicago, she has almost twenty years experience working with kids.

Some of her favorite things to do with her three boys, two of which are GMPS alums, are reading, telling stories and singing! She hopes one day to write a children’s book illustrated by her sweet boys.
